“We Must Be Allowed To Have Other Views”: Terry Crews Responds, Unpacks ‘Black Lives Better’ Tweet

Actor and comedian Terry Crews found himself in hot water again after posting on Twitter:

“If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology. We must ensure #blacklivesmatter doesn’t morph into #blacklivesbetter”.

The backlash against his comments was swift. Crews received responses from Bernice King, Holly Robinson Peete, DL Hughley and Keith Boykin.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor believes his words were misunderstood and he spoke with Roland Martin during Tuesday’s edition of #RolandMartinUnfiltered about his comments and the controversy.
