On Tuesday, Dallas Mavericks owner, entrepreneur and co-star of ABC’s Shark Tank joined Roland Martin on #RolandMartinUnfiltered for a wide-ranging candid interview that focused on race and diversity in corporate America.
During their chat, Cuban explained that “white people don’t like to think or talk about race.” He added that in past he was also guilty of this.
The NBA owner continued many believe that if they are “color blind” they think issues of race is not their problem and therefore they do not have a problem.
He added, “It’s not like white people sit around and say, ‘OK let’s talk about race, let’s talk about the impact race has on our company — let’s talk about what’s going on in the country — it’s just not something were comfortable doing.”
